This year, Colnaghi Elliott Master Drawings is delighted to be exhibiting a selection of 19th-
century works on paper, collectively demonstrating the remarkable artistic diversity of this period,
from Neoclassicism through to Impressionism and beyond.
Our commitment to celebrating both iconic art historical names and overlooked talents deserving
of wider recognition remains as strong as ever.
Among the highlights are works by Jacques-Louis David, Jean-Baptiste Isabey, Thomas Daniell,
Paulin Guérin, Marie Braquemind, Zélie-Julie D’Leindre and many more.
We are excited to include a recently rediscovered 19th-century painting as well: a touching family
portrait by Sophie Frémiet, very likely depicting students of the artist.
